Exodus: A working class success story

Exodus is a community collective in Marsh Farm, Luton. It revolved its practices around the free party scene, DIY culture and fighting social injustice in the late 1980s up until the early 2000s. The group was formed during Thatcherite Britain, as a response to the mass unemployment and privatisation that was happening in the UK at the time. The group faced police corruption, police brutality and malpractice. One incident even resulted in one of the key members being charged for murder. The film that unravels is a reflection of the cultural and societal impact of the underground rave movement focused on one of its most vital groups, the exodus collective.
